ROCKPORT: THE MAKING OF A TOURIST TREASURE
Eleanor Parsons, a former teacher in Rockport, was a member of the Sandy Bay Historical Society, and had for many years operated a guest house for tourists in Rockport. She was the widow of a direct descendant of one of Cape Ann's earliest settlers and had long been a researcher and writer of stories of the colorful region. The history of Rockport, Massachusetts has been preserved in print, for the curious of all ages.
