Los Angeles, California: A Photographic Portrait

Stephen  Bay Photographer

From its original settlement named, "the Town of Our Lady Queen of the Angels" by Spanish colonists in 1781, Los Angeles was destined for greatness. Stephen Bay's photographs capture a bold and sassy metropolitan city where the scenery is dramatic and always changing. Downtown's skyscrapers are in sharp contrast to distinctive neighborhoods that reflect the broad character of L.A. Follow his personal tour of this magical place that includes eclectic beach towns, ethnically rich districts, the star-studded media production center of Hollywood, and the glamour of Beverly Hills.

Great Photos of Venice!
This book correctly captured a significant part of the "Spirit of Venice". I know most of the people in the photos. The Officers (LAPD)on horses loved and got a big kick out of it when I showed the book to them. One of them was in the hospital with back surgury at the time. His partners called him from the beach immediately to tell him about being in the book.It helped make their day! Thank You. (Member of the Venice Arts, Beautification and Culture Committee)
