Pittsburgh is nicknamed the City of Bridges, and for good reason. More than 450 bridges span its three major rivers! That’s a lot of bridges, and my favorite is the Smithfield Street Bridge. Which is yours?
Pittsburgh is also a beloved football town with bragging rights to 6 Super Bowl victories. The Steelers, along with the Pirates and Penguins, are showcased in the Western Pennsylvania Sports Museum, located just above the Senator John Heinz History Center.
Aside from its bridges and sports teams, the city also is home to a plethora of museums, parks, and the world-renowned Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens.
Drawing more than 2 million visitors annually, Pittsburgh is undeniably worth a visit!
